on june 29, 2025 i found out i have a petroclival meningioma (brain tumor) affecting my 6th cranial nerve (the one that controls horizontal eye movement), which has been causing me to have double vision since early may 2025.
i'm documenting my journey here, in part to keep family and friends updated so i don't have to have real time conversations about how i'm feeling about having a brain tumor, and in part to have somewhere to dump all of my research as i try to prepare myself for what lies ahead.
hopefully this can be a helpful resource for others who have found an uninvited squatter in their brain as well.
